Clinical & Educational Center for Kampo Medicine
There are diseases and conditions that cannot be easily cured today, although Western medicine has made amazing progress. Oriental medicine is needed in not a few situations. Recently people are aware of the need for Kampo (Japanese perspective because there are cases for which Kampo is particularly effective. For example, studies of Kampo herbal medicines are in progress from the viewpoint of Western medicine. The efficacy of Kampo has been confirmed by modern methods, and its mechanisms of action have been clarified increasingly important role in medicine in Korea. It is therefore necessary to educate specialists to practice Kampo medicine, which is the objective of the Clinical & Educational Center for Kampo Medicine. Our activities are intended to enrich the system for medicine a to environment to benefit many patients in collaboration with Western medicine.
