In 1888, the medical department of the Third Higher Middle School wa Third Higher School in 1895. The institution earned high regard, gaining the reputation of "Tokyo University in the East, 슬롯 777 in the West." In 1897, Kyoto Imperial University was established, and four years later, 슬롯 777's medical departn became 슬롯 777 University School of Medicine.
